Job Description

Our client is a growing and acquisitive pharmaceutical company with international presence.

They are currently looking to appoint a Junior Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the entities in the UK and Northern Europe.

The role will report directly to the Regional Head of Finance and is based in central London, offering opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week.

The responsibilities of the Junior Financial Accountant will include:

Processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices and travelling expenses.

Posting the invoices in SAP.

Reconcile supplier accounts and statements monthly, including company credit cards.

Resolve accounting errors and discrepancies, focusing on indirect taxes.

Booking monthly prepayments, provisions, accruals and revaluations

Register fixed assets and run monthly depreciation.

Prepare payment batches and proposals, ensuring timely vendor payments.

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience within a similar role

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

Experience in pharma, FMCG or another manufacturing company

Tax knowledge (local legislation and its application on accounting activities)

Experience with SAP Concur or Readsoft/Kofax is a plus.

Strong planning and time management skills and able to prioritize workload.

A self-starter who can work autonomously.
