Were looking for a Finance Assistant Apprentice to work within our in-house commercial Finance team. You’ll get exposure to all aspects of the Financial Billing process and support in learning systems and responsibilities. The role will also work closely with our parent company shared finance service and will report into the Working Capital Manager.

The role

Were looking for a Finance Assistant Apprentice to work within our in-house commercial Finance team. The role will also work closely with our parent company shared finance service and will report into the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Management and analysis of WIP balances including:
• Coding of job cost invoices
• Creating job bags on Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Assisting in credit control
• Filing invoices
• Assisting the team of Production Accountants
• Client billing utilising the management information system, Excel and finance system and client systems
• Maintenance of client CRM details on Plunet (management information system) & Microsoft Dynamics AX (finance system)
• Liaison with PMs to control and manage WIP
• Maintaining internal controls including Sarbanes Oxley
• Provide relevant reports and support to PMs and Business Directors
• Any other ad hoc requests
