Role overview:

As a social strategist, you will assist in managing everyday client communication – including emails, weekly calls and project trackers. There is an opportunity for you to develop creative briefs and assist in the development of copy for various social media platforms as well as providing assistance in the creation and execution of social media campaigns including audience planning/targeting, creative development and performance tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Support across all key social accounts, playing a vital role in supporting social media functions
  • Help to prepare performance reports for social clients (ongoing, as well as campaigns and projects)
  • Monitor conversations and trends in the social media landscape related to the industry, competitors, and target audience
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices through self-directed learning, training programs, and industry events
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders or team members on social media best practices, tools, and processes

About the candidate:

  • At least 1+ years’ experience in the industry
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Design, Business, or a relevant field
  • A level of experience in digital and social media marketing, ideally working within an agency
  • A deep understanding and interest in social
  • Enjoys building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
