Get ready to launch your Engineering career with our customised 15 month training programme! You’ll rotate through exciting placements that are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Experience the hands-on work across our Nuclear new build sites.

Youll contribute to different projects throughout the programme and here are some examples of work our recent Human Factors graduates have completed:
- Supporting Human Factors work such as task analyses, design review, and procedure improvements
- Shadowing walk-downs by Human Factors personnel on EDF Nuclear Power Stations
- Supporting commissioning and safety case development for HPC
- Producing reports detailing Human Factors assessments
Our Science and Engineering Programme also includes protected training time for courses covering nuclear fundamentals, EPR (European Pressurised Reactor) systems, communications, and health & safety.
Our scheme is accredited with a number of professional institutions, and well support you to gain chartership with the relevant professional body:
- Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
- Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA)
- Institute of Physics (IoP)
- The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE)
- The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)

Your work location:
Throughout the programme, youll have the chance to explore a variety of our sites, immersing yourself in the diversity of our business.
The main locations you could be based at are:
- Gloucester Business Park, Gloucester
- Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater
- Sizewell C, Suffolk
- Any one of our Operating Stations
Please note this programme is rotational in its nature, so you will be required to move around. But dont worry – weve got you covered with practical and financial support every step of the way.
Who you are:
To join our team youll need a 2:2 Bachelors Degree or a 2:2 Postgraduate Degree (obtained or expected) in Engineering, Science or a related subject.
Were looking for someone with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, the power generation industry and technology with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, whilst being keen to solve technical problems.
Additionally, you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
Our Virtual Assessment Centre will take place on 19th, 20th and 21st November.
