Junior Business Development Manager

Dunbar Brown Group is delighted to be working exclusively with our Glasgow based client in their search for Junior Business Development Managers. Our client is a Financial Services organisation that offer a wide suite of products to their clients across the IT space. This role will suit an experienced SDR that has 2-3 years’ experience of setting meetings for an experienced colleague and is looking to step up into a full 360 sales position.

Key Responsibilities:

– Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients within the Financial Services and IT sectors

– Leverage your experience to effectively book meetings and complete sales processes with decision-makers and stakeholders.

– Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely follow-ups with prospects.

– Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively.

– Target Achievement:** Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies.

– Work closely with the senior BDMs and sales team to develop and execute effective sales plans.

– Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.

Qualifications:

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or in a similar role within the Financial Services or IT Sectors

– Proven track record of successfully booking meetings and achieving sales targets.

– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

– Highly motivated and driven by achieving targets and earning commissions.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

– Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
