Our Data Teams assist the operational and Functional Teams in creating meaningful data which allows informed decisions to be made to ensure we are operating with financial and KPI agreed terms.

WHAT KIND OF WORK WILL I DO?

  • Working within our freight planning Team , you will work with a passionate team focusing on the below and many more.
  • Ensure compliance regulations are followed at all times to ensure no delays
  • Working with Carriers to transport good to meet the Customer requirements.
  • Creation of GMR/GVMS vital documents to ensure carrier can move through ports successfully.
  • Meet all target KPIS
  • Carrier Management
  • Route cause analysis
  • Effective communication
  • Stake holder Management

WHAT WILL MY APPRENTICESHIP COVER?

  • Move Freight internationally (Geography, cargo, goods, planning and documentation)
  • Follow customs procedures (Trade tariffs, VAT, Customs, Import and Export, Declarations and commodities)
  • Follow Business Finance and Freight Costing (Business accountancy and taxation principles, Commercial invoicing and billing, accruals, Pricing and spotquoting, Currency conversions, Margins, Quotations)
  • Excel with Customer Service (Communication, Personal Skills, Culture, Media, World times, Complaints)
  • Have a chosen pathway (air, ocean or road)

COMPENSATION: £21,000 per annum starting salary. As an Apprentice your salary will increase throughout the programme.
