We’re looking for the next generation of Data & AI talent. If you’re a recent graduate in ML Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or a related subject, then look no further.

Now in its sixth year at our UK Office, Datatonic is an award-winning Google Cloud partner with learning & development at its core. Our Graduate Program is a fast-track for your career in Cloud. 

The opportunity

The first 6-weeks of this program are spent with our Academy, which is led by some of the best Google Cloud trainers from around the globe! You’ll then join a team at the ‘Associate’ level, where your senior colleagues will support you on your ongoing journey. You’ll learn a broad range of skills, and use cutting-edge technologies to work on real client projects and innovative internal R&D.

Your core goals

• Build innovative state-of-the-art solutions with our customers.
• Work with the most innovative and scalable data processing technologies.
• Work closely with our tech partners: Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, dbt, and others, in understanding their tech inside and out.
• Work in an agile and dynamic environment together with a team of engineers, scientists, analysts, and machine learning experts.

Requirements

• Curiosity, a passion for tech, and a hunger to learn!
• Solid knowledge of at least one programming language.
• The ability to organise time, learn quickly and work well under pressure.Problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• A BSc or higher in a quantitative subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant subject is preferred – but we are open-minded!
• Some exposure to the handling of large, diverse, real-world datasets would be valuable.
• A willingness to step outside of your comfort zone and grow – not just with tech, but also with client-facing skills including things like pre-sales and project management.

Here’s what our September/October 2024 cohort will focus on:

• Data Science Graduate – Your mandate is to deliver high impact strategic outcomes for clients. Learn from pros, and work on exciting data projects like product recommender systems, IoT data analysis, segmenting user behaviour profiles with web analytics data, geo-spatial analysis with billions of datapoints and many more.
• Machine Learning Engineer Graduate – Learn how to engineer beautiful code in python and take pride in what you produce. You’ll be trained to be an advocate of high-quality engineering and best practice in production software as well as rapid prototypes.
• MLOps – At the intersection between Machine Learning and DevOps, MLOps aims to solve problems you encounter when turning Data Science code into production Machine Learning systems. Specialise in building platforms and tools that allow our clients to adopt MLOps across their organisations. Grow your understanding of AI/Machine Learning and software engineering best practices such as Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD. You’ll also develop excellent communication and consulting skills, while delivering innovative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
