Trainee Mechanical Estimator

Our client are looking for a trainee mechanical estimator to join their expanding team. They are looking for someone to assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems and components aswell as other duties which can be discussed.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience of HVAC, plumbing & other mechanical systems.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Proactive & ambitious

Ability to understand BOQ’s & drawings for take offs

Good knowledge of Microsoft excel, word & outlook

Ability to liaise with clients professionally

Full UK driving licence

Minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade 9/A – 4/C including maths, english language and ICT; 1 A Level or 2 AS Levels (40 UCAS points) or an equivalent qualification such as Level 3 BTEC National in a relevant construction or engineering subject
