Key Role Highlights and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Trainee Teacher, you will benefit from a nurturing and accelerated journey working directly within your subject specialism. You will also have the opportunity to support across a range of subjects in multiple year groups.

– Graduates from all subject specialisms are welcome to apply. Must be driven and passionate about improving outcomes for children.

– Committed and motivated to become an educator, supporting teaching and learning for children and young people.

– Deliver and review lessons appropriate for pupils across KS3/KS4 with full support and training provided.

– Engage with other class teachers and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop reflective classroom practice.

Essential Requirements

– A degree qualification alongside a standard grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths.

– A-Level or Degree in the subject you are interested in teaching at the secondary level.

– Previous experience working with children and young people in a similar setting is highly advantageous.

– Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
