Pet Trade Innovations are looking for a graduate with a love of marketing, with a desire to utilise modern tools to contribute to their exciting phase of growth

Pet Trade Innovations have been trading since 2016 and have a group of companies all working in the pet & vet trades.
Pet Trade Innovations has many strings to it’s bow and was set up to help bring new innovations and products to the UK pet and vet market.

They are master distributors for the UK and European markets dealing with major accounts in both the pet and vet sectors, as well as offering consultancy, coaching and help for companies and individuals wanting to launch new products or grow sales.
This can be through anything from helping new designers to bring their product to market, to launching a successful overseas brand into the UK through their distribution networks.
What is the role?
The successful candidate will act as the go to person for marketing and social media across all companies and brands. The business is currently turning over 5 million pounds a year with a small team and you will play an important part in reaching their 20 million target over the next 5 years.
They currently do a wide variety of marketing from creating our own packaging to building brands and running social media campaigns. they sell online and offline to wholesalers across the world.
You will:
- Help with the implementation and design of the marketing plan
- Update and present monthly forecasts on the business marketing plan and review return on investment
- Support the running and monitoring of all social media channels
- Support the delivery of clubs and competitions
- Work with designers on projects such as adverts, POS, artwork and packaging.
- Work with social media influencers to boost brand awareness
- Help to organise, set up and attend trade shows
- Help to implement wholesaler marketing and promotions
- Write press releases and promote new product launches
- Write and circulate the monthly newsletters

Who is best suited to this role?
The ideal candidate will be someone with a real passion for marketing and a mixed skill set.
You should possess good all round computer skills and a good understanding of AI and the direction marketing is taking for the future.
You should be able to pick things up quickly and be extremely well organised.
The job is very varied, so you need to be able to work on multiple projects at once and deliver to deadlines.
A good understanding of marketing budgets and how to run them is also essential.
The ability to deliver under pressure and display resilience will also be extremely valuable.
- Previous experience of a customer or client facing role would be beneficial.
