IT Apprentice

Based in our offices in Skypark Exeter, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. You will be trained to provide technical support to our customers for both sectors of the business by telephone and with direct contact. You will also learn to diagnose and repair computer and laptop faults, programme telephone systems, and resolve broadband issues. There will be the need to visit customer premises to assist with the installation of new equipment and rectify faults. The role may also include aspects of general office administration, such as invoicing, stock control, filing, sourcing prices and purchasing.

List of Duties:

To include but not limited to:-

  • Client repairs to include installation and configuration of computer/communication hardware systems and software
  • Analysis, diagnosis and resolution of client problems via email, phone and face to face contract
  • Stock control
  • Answer and respond to incoming calls · Logging calls on the helpdesk
  • Responding to outstanding faults, queries and concerns in accordance with the time parameters set by the company
  • Taking ownership of problems and driving them to a successful conclusion
