Are you a Clinical Vascular Scientist looking for a new opportunity to expand your expertise in a collaborative, state-of-the-art environment?

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston (UHBW) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our renowned Vascular Science Unit.

This is your chance to work with a talented and supportive team, providing critical services across two well-established hospital sites: Bristol Royal Infirmary and Weston General Hospital.

Our Vascular Science Unit is a close-knit, scientific team of seven experienced clinical vascular scientists, alongside an STP trainee, a vascular science practitioner apprentice, and three scientific support associates. Together, we provide a comprehensive adult and paediatric vascular science service, with cutting-edge facilities designed to support your clinical development and wellbeing.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll take on a range of exciting responsibilities, including:
• • Performing vascular diagnostic and surveillance ultrasound scans
• Assess ankle-brachial pressure indices (ABPI) and toe-brachial index (TBI)
• Interpretation and reporting
• Teaching and mentoring
• Clinical research and innovation
• Leadership and workflow management
