We are actively looking to recruit a

Graduate Teaching Assistant

(SEN)

who has a genuine passion for SEND, interest in psychology and ASC (Autism) with recent experience supporting non-verbal children on the autistic spectrum.

This is an exciting SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity within a fantastic, well led Islington based Primary School, starting ASAP and a long-term opportunity, with a view to become permanent!

If successful, you will join a brilliant support team and personally tasked with supporting a non-verbal Year 2 child with ASC during the morning, deployed as a general TA in the afternoon, supporting children with a range of needs.

The leadership team are looking for someone to start ASAP. Someone with a calm yet confident personality, experience supporting ASC, primary aged children and with the resilience to deal with any and all challenges the role of an SEN teaching assistant will see you face.

This graduate teaching assistant (SEN) position will need someone committed, hard working and adaptable. You will need to be versatile, able to support 1:1 both academically as well as pastorally, with an element of personal care (nappy changing) involved.
