A great opportunity to join a boutique Property Company based in a trendy area of South West London as their Trainee Property Manager, with view to become the companies Property Manager as quickly as possible. My client isn’t a high street estate agent, so the role is unique.

Former property management or property experience isn’t necessary, as training will be provided.

Company Profile for the Trainee Property Manager:

As a Trainee Property Manager in their team you will have hands on training from some of the most experienced people I the industry, and will assist in managing a portfolio of between 70 – 100 properties from the word go. You will carry out your own inspections and have the opportunity to attend the properties when problems arise. You will be liaising frequently with the landlord, tenants and contractors. It is a very hands on position.

Duties of the Trainee Property Manager:

? Manage a portfolio of 120 properties

? Carry out all inspections

? Deal with maintenance issues

? Serve legal notices, section 21’s and section 8’s

? Chase rent arrears

? Deal with all change of occupancies

? Maintain good relationships with all contractors

? Keep landlords and tenants up to date throughout tenancy

Character profile of the Trainee Property Manager:

? Good understanding of Property Management/ Lettings Administration

? Good communication verbally and written

? Desire to learn and build a career within Property Management

Package for the Trainee Property Manager:

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6:00pm

Salary: Between £22,000 – £25,000pa depending on experience

This is a role centred round managing a portfolio of Properties so the chosen Trainee Property Manager needs to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a support role, work as a team player as well as having the customer service skills that are required to be proficient in all aspects of the job.
