Junior Buyer – Hinckley – Up to £28,000

Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnered with a successful and very well-established Manufacturing and Engineering business based in Hinckley as they seek to recruit for a new Junior Buyer to join their team.

Reporting to the Senior Buyer, this exciting position will offer progression and opportunity within Purchasing and/or Project management. This is an ideal role for a Graduate or someone early on in their procurement career looking to secure a position that can develop them further. The business are reputable leaders within their field and are forecasting a continued period of growth over the next 5 years and beyond.

Updating Supplier information

Maintaining the system and database

Raising purchase orders for Direct and Indirect suppliers

Maintaining order books

Manage system messages

Monitoring of stock levels ensuring on time delivery

Maintaining a good knowledge of goods and services procured

Support the purchasing team with project and administrationsHours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30 and 7:30am – 12:30pm Friday (Flexible)

Required Skills & Experience:

Engineering / Manufacturing experience would be advantageous but not essential

Have strong attention to detail and be IT literate including Microsoft Excel
