Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Our 3 years Controls and Instrumentation Engineering Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity to rotate each year accelerate your career and support your development into a truly well-rounded engineering professional.

The programme is for 3 years and will be filled with interesting and high-profile assignments. You will get first-hand experience in technical engineering projects, operations, developing technologies, testing units, improving current products, and designing control systems across a variety of energy technologies.

You can look forward to a mix of on-the-job learning, training modules and project work. As you develop, you’ll find the challenges will increase in complexity and responsibility.

Our engineering programme is accredited by the IET (Institution of Engineering & Technology), so you know you’ll be on the right track to become registered as a Chartered Engineer should you choose to, and this typically takes 4-5 years.

You will also complete and develop multiple qualifications and skills while on programme such as:

  • Completion of our internal Major Accident Hazards Awareness course

  • IOSH managing safely certificate

  • AMP project fundamentals certificate

  • Root cause analysis certificate

  • IDG Leadership & Followership Training

  • BS 7671 Wiring Regulations

  • Motor Principles

Throughout the programme, you will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into.

We believe those who join the programme will be our future engineering leaders!

We have a few must-haves:

  • 1st or 2:1 Master’s degree in a suitable electronics/control and instrumentation (or closely related) engineering discipline, accredited by the relevant engineering institution

  • A passionate and creative Engineer who can deliver solutions within tight timeframes and implement them safely and successfully

  • Willing to relocate within the UK to help make the most of all the opportunities we offer

  • In the office a minimum of 2 days a week

  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • In possession of a full UK driving licence, as you may be required to travel to remote locations

  • Available to start your Graduate Programme on 1st October 2024
