Are you ready to step into the dynamic world of digital marketing? Cedarwood Digital is expanding its Paid Media team following recent client wins, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us on this exciting journey!

We’re keen to hear from business-savvy students (preferably final year), graduates and entry-level marketers to support our Paid Media offering. We are looking for an analytical Junior PPC Executive to join and grow with our agency.

While experience isn’t necessary, we are looking for a driven individual with a keen interest in digital marketing! This role is all about hands-on experience?you’ll be managing real marketing campaigns right from day one, therefore the ideal candidate will be proactive, show initiative and be comfortable and confident taking ownership of projects from the start.

Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, managing PPC campaigns across Google, Microsoft & Meta Ads. From budget management to keyword research, you’ll be at the forefront of campaign optimisation, ensuring our clients achieve their marketing goals.

In return, the candidate will be given full training & the opportunity to attend networking events & conferences to enhance their skills as well as the opportunity to work within a fast-growing field & agency.

Main responsibilities of the Junior PPC Digital Marketing Executive:

Working across Google, Microsoft & Meta Ads for a variety of different clients from e-commerce to lead generation with a range of PPC budgets up to £25,000 p/m.

Learning & understanding how to use different marketing channels on Google Ads including display, shopping, search & remarketing within accounts

Creation & on-going optimisation of campaigns including negative keywords & bid adjustments

Daily monitoring of spend & bids to ensure clients are on track to hit budget

Undertaking keyword research to find any missed opportunities within client accounts

Using a range of online tools to support with the analysis of performance (e.g. Analytics, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner etc)

Building strong long-term relationships with clients & conducting regular calls to discuss account performance & strategies

Creation of monthly reports for clients to analyse performance against KPI’s & previous performance

Staying up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team.

Required skills and attributes:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong passion for digital marketing and a desire to pursue a career in the field.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with PPC platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising or Paid Social (Meta Ads) is a plus.

Basic understanding of social media platforms and their advertising capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
