We have a great opportunity for Apprentice Web Developers to join our team. You need to be self motivated, driven and focussed on the delivery of a varied portfolio of digital projects and ongoing retainers.

The salary for this role is £13,312.

Overview

The Apprentice Developer role is an entry-level role requiring no previous experience. We will provide full training in all aspects of Web Development through an accredited training provider. You will work on a variety of project related and support tasks, with a small team of experienced developers learning practical skills alongside your academic studies. Our multi-award winning apprenticeship programme is delivered in two phases:

  • Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship (Approximately 12-18 months)
  • Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in either Management Practice or Digital and Technical Solutions (Approximately 3-4 years)

Purpose of the role

Our Apprentice Web Developers are a crucial part of our delivery function, accountable for building, testing and supporting software components and cloud infrastructure on time, on budget, and to acceptable levels of quality within our agreed processes.

You will work across a wide range of our digital technologies such as Umbraco, Wordpress and Hubspot, Azure and AWS.

You will work with colleagues across the agency and directly with clients and suppliers to provide a top class client experience.

You will be the champion of project tasks and support tickets you’re assigned to throughout the lifecycle to ensure that they deliver on time and on budget.

  • You must have 5x GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English;
  • You must have a demonstrable interest in digital technologies such as the web, mobile, crypto, or AI;
  • Not already hold a Degree in an IT discipline;
  • You must be able to reliably commute to Bordon regularly;
  • You must have the right to live and work in the UK;
  • You must meet the requirements of the Education and Skills Funding Agency Funding Rules for Apprenticeships.

This is a UK-based remote working role. You will be expected to attend on-site team meetings up to six times per year across the UK at our attractions clients, in addition to ad hoc meetings in line with the requirements of your role.

This is a Full Time role (40-hours per week). We will consider applications for Part-Time working, with a minimum of 30-hours per week in most circumstances, although we will be flexible where you can make a reasonable case for reduced hours, such as childcare responsibilities, health constraints or disability.

This role may be combined with a Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions or Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship – enabling you to achieve a Degree at work.
