What you will do in your working day

• Commitment to completion of Property Maintenance Operative L2 apprenticeship over 2 years
• Carry out a range of duties to contribute to the security, safety and day to day maintenance and operation of the whole Academy site, including Sport & Leisure
• Assisting the Site Team with painting, decorating, basic repairs and maintenance of the school and sports centre premises
• Set out and put away furniture for school events and undertake general porterage
• Identify and report building, furnishing or fittings deficiencies and undertake any remedial action
• To follow safe working practices at all times
• To support the cleaning of defined areas of the school premises

The training you will be getting

• The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular college attendance. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Propterty Maintenance Operative Level 2 standard.
• On completion the apprentice will receive Propterty Maintenance Operative qualification.
• Functional Skills in Maths and English may also be required, depending on current level.
