The Junior Print & Graphic Designer will work within the Design team to design on trend prints and graphics for PrettyLitleThing.com across short and long lead time frames in a fast-paced environment. The Pretty Little Thing customer will always be at the forefront any designs produced and they will also support the commercial targets of the organisation.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting continuous research and identifying emerging print and graphic trends from various outlets including, catwalks, vintage, social media etc. 
  • Working closely with our Print Designer to support them with any tasks or admin they need, as well as working closely with the wider design and buying teams with any print or graphics requests.
  • Displaying knowledge and competencies relating to print and graphics from an industry standard with relation to production.
  • Taking an idea from concept to create engaging on brand graphics and prints ready for production.
  • Working to tight deadlines, as well as forward planning ranges for future seasons.
  • Collaborating directly with both national and international suppliers.
  • Displaying in depth knowledge of the customer and market you will be designing for.
  • Building and maintaining close links with both the buying and design teams.

More about you

We’re seeking a creative and innovative individual who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of the PrettyLittleThing brand and customer. You will have strong commercial awareness and a comprehensive understanding of womenswear trends. The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience working in a similar role in a fast paced retail environment is essential for this role.
  • Have a fashion related qualification, ideally to degree level, is preferred.
  • Experienced in identifying and proposing potential new product opportunities
  • Be highly trend driven, motivated and with a positive energetic attitude.
  • Have a positive work ethic and can develop relationships with design and buying team
  • Have exceptional communication skills, capable of working with other product teams and external suppliers to build productive relationships.
  • Excellent computer skills including previous experience using Photoshop, Adobe and Illustrator.
