As a Football Services Apprentice, you will experience and gain insight into the breadth of work that takes place across grassroots football. You will get to see and participate in customer engagement with our clubs and leagues, and work with the team in helping solve their day-to-day challenges. There will be the opportunity to learn new processes and systems, and help with the monitoring of performance against targets.

These are exciting times for the County FA as we are at the beginning of our new four-year strategy and are settling into a new. County FA office. The continued growth of grassroots football continues to provide opportunities and challenges, and the successful candidates will be instrumental in helping the County FA to achieve our ambitions over the upcoming period

Key Responsibilities include;

-Support clubs, leagues and volunteers using FA online platforms, and with general queries.

-Support the annual registration of Clubs, Teams, Players and Leagues

-Monitor performance and participation information for clubs and organisations signed up to FA Programmes

-Support the England Football Accreditation renewal process

-Support the business in delivering excellent customer service through effective communication

-Execute tasks as required to meet the Berks & Bucks FA changing priorities

What your apprenticeship includes:

-A mixture of face to face and online catch ups every 4 – 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress

-A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars

-Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer

You will work towards your Level 3 business administration qualification over the course of 12-18 months
