Early Years Practitioner Apprentice

Here at Barton Day Nurseries Ltd, we are looking to recruit an apprentice to join our busy team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about starting their career in childcare to promote the physical, social and emotional development of each child and contribute towards their care and supervision. Salary increase post probation.

We have a great opportunity for a level 2 apprentice to join the team, supported by award winning provider – Realise.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• To work as part of a professional Early Years team.
• To carry out out observations and development plans
• To ensure Safeguarding of all children

• Meet and greeting parents and children at the nursery
• Completing handovers with parents, guardians and colleagues
• Assist at snack and meal times
• Setting up classrooms for the days activities
• Supervising activities
• General housekeeping of the nursery
• Ensuring that all safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
