In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Software Development Qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Program using a diverse set of languages such as Python, Java, C#, SQL, HTML and CSS
  • Implement effective debugging and testing strategies to ensure software functionality
  • Navigate different computing platforms, including physical hardware, virtual machines, and cloud services
  • Comprehend and adhere to industry compliance standards and regulations
  • You will have the opportunity to work within all areas of the development, planning analysis, design, development, deployment and maintenance
  • Complete bug fixes, functional errors, syntax, logical and system level

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • 12,480-16,770 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
  • 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A keen interest in Software Development and an eagerness to a long term career in the industry
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A readiness to learn new technologies and programming methodologies
  • Previous experience with development tools is beneficial
  • Grade 6/B in GCSE Maths and Grade 4/C in GCSE English
