Baltic Apprenticeships are excited to be working with a leading provider of comprehensive building and maintenance services. Their Electrical Division is expanding, and they’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst Apprentice to join their team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in data analysis and administration, working closely with their Head Administrator/Scheduler and a dedicated team of professionals.

As a Junior Data Analyst Apprentice, you will provide high-quality support to the Electrical Division by maintaining and enhancing their internal data systems, analysing data to drive business insights, and ensuring seamless communication between field staff and the office. Your role will be crucial in helping them deliver exceptional service to their customers and supporting the overall efficiency of their operations.

In this role, youll work towards your level 3 Data qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of their internal data system (EPIX) by removing duplicate entries, correcting spelling errors, completing blank fields, and ensuring proper formatting.
  • Efficiently transfer information from field staff’s Microsoft Excel inputs into their CRM system, making data accessible and usable for the entire team.
  • Collaborate with the team to extract and analyse data from the CRM system, creating graphs and tables that highlight job timings, weekly and monthly reports, and sales team targets.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for management, showcasing sales figures, geographical insights, equipment usage, popular purchases, and outstanding balances. Visualise data to aid business decisions and attract potential clients.
  • Conduct statistical analysis on sales data, including calculating mean, median, and mode, to provide valuable insights for KPI development and business strategy.
  • Facilitate smooth operations by managing customer and supplier communications, scheduling appointments, and actioning system faults.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • 13,000-15,000 per annum
  • Working Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • A grade 4/C at GCSE in English and Maths is required for this role
