We are looking for a passionate, dedicated IT enthusiast to join our clients growing team as an Apprentice.

This Apprenticeship will be the perfect stepping-stone into your dream IT career. Our clients is dedicated to ensuring that all staff members are continuously trained and mentored to guarantee that you are getting the most out of your time within the business. You will be working side by side with your mentor that will develop you into the IT expert you have always dreamt of.

In this role, youll work towards your IT Support Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

Offer 1st line support by dealing with technical issues, managing and resetting passwords, installing and deploying software, Managing hardware and devices

Utilise ConnectWise ticketing system

Communicate with customers via phone, email, remote access, and ticketing system

Involved in server and data backups

Configure hardware and software using SCCM and Solus for remote devices such as PCs

Use Wireshark to monitor network performance, identify IP address issues, and network flooding

Use Event Viewer to monitor application and system messages for errors and troubleshooting Windows issues

Use Task Manager for system monitoring and troubleshooting

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

£12,675 per annum

Monday

Friday 8am

4.30pmor 8.30am – 5.30pm

21 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays

Birthday off

Social events such as last Friday of the month drinks

City Centre Parking

Extra training and development throughout your time as an apprentice

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

Passion for IT and technology advancements

Great communication skills

Customer service experience is highly beneficial

Experience building PCs, installations etc

GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths or L2 Functional skills equivalent

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Technician.
