Based in Brigshaw, you will be exposed to a wide variety of the IT industry, supporting with networks, installing hardware and software, troubleshooting IT issues, and much more! As well as this the progression opportunities within this role are endless, what you put into the apprenticeship is what you will achieve out of it!

In this role, youll work towards your

Level 3 Information Communications Technician,

delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

Provide 1st line support to internal staff and across the wider company

Troubleshoot IT issues such as

password resets, software upgrades, hardware repairs

Travel and support senior technicians with site visits as and where needed

dealing with networks and servers

Install hardware and software

configure, maintain and upgrade

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours

Benefits:

£14,430 – £17,000 per annum

Working Monday – Friday, 37.5 hour per week

20 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays

Provided with a company devices such as a mobile phone and laptop

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

It is desirable that you hold a UK driving licence

Good communication and telephone skills

A passion for IT with an understanding of systems, hardware and networking

Can work well within a team and independently

Eager to learn and develop skills

GCSE Grade 5 in English and grade 4 in Maths is required for this role

Your Training with Baltic:

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification, and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective

IT Support Technician.
