In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Provide first line support via helpdesk support
• Installing client operating systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
• Setting up and fixing hardware
• Dealing with password resets and management
• Managing Office 365 systems
• Support staff with any equipment issues

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

• 20,967 per annum (FTE: 23,114)
• 37 hours – Monday to Thursday 8am 4pm/ 3.30pm on Friday
• Term time only plus 2 weeks, including Inset Days
• Local government pension scheme

Essential Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• Grade 4 or above in Maths English is essential for this role
• Relevant IT qualification or applicable technical or vocational qualification (Post 16 BTEC, A-Level etc)
• Passion about IT
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Use own initiative
• Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner
