Baltic Apprenticeships are working with our client to recruit for an IT Apprentice join their team. They live and breath Apple Macs, which is why you won’t find anyone better to help solve your Mac technology problems.

In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Log support calls that come through via phone or e-mail
  • Work with the helpdesk team to handle day to day requests
  • Provide 1st line support to existing client base
  • Escalate calls where necessary
  • Use Teamviewer for remote access for clients
  • Use a wide range of tools to test/troubleshoot and analyse problems
  • Desktop and laptops set up including cabling and general connectivity
  • Troubleshoot and analyse a wide variety of issues across a wide variety of software, hardware and office environments
  • Installing and configuring equipment

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • 15,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8:45am-5:45pm
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays!

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good organisational skills
  • Passion for IT
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths
