Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a worldwide organisation who are pioneers in the raised access flooring systems for commercial offices and data centres! They are now looking to grow their technical team by adding a motivated IT Support Technician apprentice to their team!

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for working on the 1st line support helpdesk, performing daily IT checks, escalating issues and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!

In this role, youll work towards your Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Working on a 1st line support helpdesk, resolving IT issues via call, emails and ticketing system
  • Accurately log details of all telephone and computer related issues
  • Monitoring, updating and escalating calls to ensure Service Levels are achieved
  • Advise IS team members of any system support issues requiring attention
  • Perform daily IT checks on hardware across the office
  • Hardware and software support for all telephone and office equipment

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • ?Salary – 12,408 – 22,308
  • Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM or 9 AM – 5 PM

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must have excellent timekeeping and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Demonstrate a good attitude to work and be flexible to challenges and changes
  • Strong attention to detail and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a keen willingness to learn new technologies and skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Grade 5/C in English GCSE & 4/C in Maths GCSE
