Main Duties and Responsibilities:

To assist with the running of IT services across the whole campus as directed by the IT Systems Manager.

To carry out First line maintenance on PC based, Google Chromebooks, iMac computer hardware and peripheral equipment and to assist with software upgrades, installation and maintenance.

To liaise with third party contractors where appropriate for the repair/replacement of faculty equipment.

To operate the helpdesk as part of the support team.

To follow procedures for recording, reporting, and maintaining IT related information and records.

To assist in the support of AV (audio/Visual) equipment and to assist in production of digital AV content for teaching staff.

To assist in the upkeep of school intranet content.

To provide operational support for pupils, teachers and administrative staff in the use of software.

To undertake work as reasonably directed by senior colleagues in the department.
