My client is seeking a Graduate to join the team as a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. This would be the ideal opportunity for a confident, enthusiastic, driven individual looking for a busy, developmental role in a growing business. This role will cover a range of transactional duties including sales/purchase ledger and reconciliations and you will deal with different stakeholders in the business.

Salary and benefits:

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing all transactions through Sage 200
  • Processing all purchase ledger invoices and reconciling accounts
  • Review, process and audit expenses, ensuring they are in line with company policy
  • Reconciling the supplier ledger accounts
  • Recording commission payments in proprietary systems
  • Reconciling and recording commission receipts in proprietary system
  • Processing month-end journals
  • Assisting senior team members with reconciliations and month end tasks
  • General accounting tasks across the group businesses
  • Assisting senior team members with ad hoc tasks as required.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Graduate with a degree in an Accounting/STEM subject
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Confident, with the ability to communicate to different levels in the organisation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Work under own initiative and demonstrates problem solving skills
