Augusta Investment Management (AIM) is the rapidly growing infrastructure private equity division of Augusta offering structured renewable energy investment opportunities to institutional investors in Europe. AIM has invested c.800m of capital across multiple deals and has a strong pipeline of investment opportunities across different markets. AIM is looking for a Junior Asset Manager who will be the second member of the Asset Management team and an essential part of the continuing growth of AIM. Overview of the role Under the guidance of the Senior Asset Manager, the Junior Asset Manager will: Take over projects from the Investment team at closing and manage them during their investment operational phase; Help AIM meet its obligations towards its investors, lenders, and project partners (renewable energy utilities); Coordinate closely with AIMs stakeholders including project company boards, auditors, regulators and the utilities; Work with the Investment team to ensure lessons learned during the investment operational phase are continuously used to improve new investments; Work with the Investment team to evaluate exit strategies or asset optimisation strategies The functional asset management responsibilities include: Routine liquidity and performance monitoring including bi-monthly analysis of cashflows and processing invoices and incoming / outgoing statements; Preparing quarterly valuations using an existing financial model; Preparing performance and risk updates to the boards and lenders; Semi-annual analysis of debt repayment to lenders; Coordinating distributions to investors; Assist the Senior Asset Manager with appointing and managing third party service providers for legal, accounting, tax, audit and insurance; Develop a handbook of asset management best practices. Typical candidates will demonstrate the following credentials 2-4 years of full-time professional experience in an accounting, consulting or project finance role Financial literacy and familiarity with company accounting processes Experience with financial modelling and high degree of skill with Microsoft Excel Skilled at communicating complex topics in a simple manner Excellent attention to detail Prior experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with colleagues from different backgrounds Fluency in English is essential; another European language is preferred.
