The Audit Graduate Programme offers a pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant while gaining experience in the core areas of external audit, digital audit, internal audit, and risk assurance. Working with PwC’s global client base, you’ll help businesses ensure that their financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulations, and that they are managing risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of PwC’s Audit team, your responsibilities will include:

  • External Audit: Working with clients to provide assurance on the accuracy of their financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
  • Digital Audit: Leveraging cutting-edge digital audit tools and technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of the audit process. Gain experience in data analytics, automation, and other innovative solutions to transform how audits are conducted.
  • Internal Audit & Risk Assurance: Helping clients improve their internal processes, risk management systems, and controls. You’ll identify and assess risks, ensuring they are managed effectively, and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
  • Audit Centre of Excellence: Collaborate with other audit professionals to provide high-quality, innovative audit services from PwC’s specialised centres, helping clients with complex audit requirements.

Training and Development:

The Audit Graduate Programme offers comprehensive support to help you achieve your ACA qualification (or equivalent), which will equip you with a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing standards. PwC will provide:

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals with strong analytical skills and a passion for solving complex problems. To be successful in the Audit Graduate Programme, you should have:

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, though degrees in finance, accounting, business, economics, or mathematics are advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and work with complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and build strong relationships with clients.
  • A proactive approach to learning and a desire to obtain a professional qualification.
  • An interest in audit and assurance, and a passion for helping clients maintain financial transparency and accountability.
