About The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Account Manager to join our client’s dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start their career in account management and move onto consultancy within the R&D engineering sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, supporting project management, and contributing to the overall success of our engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering clients, acting as the primary point of contact for their needs and inquiries.

Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering R&D projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Communication: Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring client requirements are clearly understood and met.

Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on project status, client satisfaction, and account performance.

Technical Support: Work closely with engineering teams to understand project specifications and provide clients with technical support and guidance.

Market Research: Conduct market research to understand client industries and provide insights that drive project success.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, project progress, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in either: Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Basic understanding of engineering principles and terminology is a plus.
