Double Days Shift 7.30 am-2 pm – 2.30 pm-10 pm

The company has multiple sites across the UK, with a turnover of over 1 billion pounds globally, providing a range of products, they pride themselves on manufacturing high-standard products as The company has been successfully trading for over 40 years and has recently experienced high demands due to the demands of the market, the company is now looking to recruit an Trainee Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a double-day shift to add support and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department. ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Trainee Maintenance Engineer from the manufacturing sector based in the Birmingham area or someone close by to Sutton Coldfield.

Key accountabilities for the position of Trainee Maintenance Engineer:

  • React to breakdowns.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Oversee Maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Mechanical fault finding
  • Replace like for like components
  • Liaise with the night shift for PPMs and hand over

Requirements for the position of Trainee Maintenance Engineer

  • An experienced Maintenance Technician, working environment,
  • A good understanding of electrical engineering.
  • A hands-on, team Player.
  • Qualifications Minimum NVQ level 2, City and guilds
