This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery- Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Project Manager to work on our Southern Water contract north of Southampton.
As the Project Manager you will be part of our Site Team who are responsible for the delivery of a major cross country pipeline, WSR and pumping station forming part of Southern Water’s Water for Life project.
This is a flag ship project and involves the design, construction, testing and commissioning of approximately 21km of large diameter DI cross country pipeline, a 8.5ML WSR and a Pumping Station. Approximately 8No sections of the project are planned to be delivered by no-dig techniques. Construction is planned to commence in Spring 2025.
As the Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

– All project reporting on project status to all levels of the organisation and client team.
– Accountable for the production and update of the project programme alongside the project planner.
– Work with the project team to ensure the project is delivered in a safe, efficient and timely way promoting best practice in quality management.
– Problem solving, identifying risks and develop mitigation strategies.
– Foster a collaborative and productive environment where ideas and best practice are shared across the team.
– Collaborate with Clients, designers, regulatory authorities and delivery teams.
– Ensure compliance with environmental processes and procedures.

What you’ll bring

– Experience of working in the Water Industry and preferably on large complex Civil Engineering projects.
– Committed to delivering the highest health, safety and environmental standards.
– Experience in large diameter cross country pipelines, no-dig techniques, insitu reinforced concrete water retaining structures and pumping stations.
