Due to continued success, our client is seeking a Glasgow-based Trainee Corporate Financial Planner to assist with developing its award-winning offering further and provide advice on Group Risk and Group Pensions.

Extremely client-focused, this secure and well-established wealth manager offers market-leading financial and employee benefits advice through its highly skilled and qualified financial planning team and latest software.

The successful candidate will undertake excellent training and development, shadow and be mentored by experience advisors, attend client meetings and eventually inherit their own portfolio made up ofbusinesses.

You will be fully supported by an experienced and locally based admin and technical support function and assisted/funded through your exams/qualifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer an outstanding service to prospective and existing corporate clients;
  • Attend client meetings alongside the experienced advisors;
  • Assist in providing advice on Group Risk and Group Pensions;
  • Proactively keep up-to-date with new developments in the tax, legal and planning world;
  • In-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision and future aims;
  • Complete risk analysis and design financial strategies.

The successful candidate

  • Possess over three years experience supporting the provision of Group Risk and/or Group Pension advice;
  • Ideally hold a relevant qualification or at least part way through achieving;
  • Inherently client focused with sound relationship building skills;
  • Technically gifted with excellent analytical skills;
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills with an engaging personality.
