Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you’ll do at work

  • Working in a busy production environment you will learn all the key skills associated with the manufacture & refurbishment of contract, office and domestic furniture
  • The training provider will visit you on site regularly to take you through the Level 2 apprenticeship programme and functional skills
  • The role will involve on the job training given by experienced furniture makers covering such roles as Upholstery, Fabric Cutting, Sewing and Assembly operations
  • Upon successfully completing your nationally recognised 2-year apprenticeship, you can expect full time employment and further development opportunities within an exciting growing business
