Package Details:

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £28,000 – £45,000 per annum, based on experience.

This is a 2/3 year programme with support and examinations to reach the fully qualified IFA status.

Remuneration related to sales will also be provided for Trainee IFAs once they start engaging with clients.

Purpose of the role:

This role is offering the rare chance to train to become a fully qualified Financial Adviser. With learning support and on the job experience, you are in control of how quickly you could be working as an Adviser. You would work alongside 3 very experienced advisers and a trainee with a mentor programme in place. There is no need to travel to see clients, as all face-to-face meetings can be held in our fully equipped meeting rooms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Shadowing financial advisers

Working closely with the administration team to help gather policy information

Help with projects: for example, Mifid annual reviews, other client campaigns, annual portfolio rebalances

Help Advisers writing reports: e.g. Annual review letters, client suitability report

General admin support

Speaking directly to clients and carrying out client reviews

Relationship building

Generating and converting opportunities into business

The Ideal Employee:

Relevant Skills/Experience

Must have been studying for exams towards being an IFA/or fully qualified

May already have some financial services industry experience and wants to move on (e.g. paraplanner or advisor support)

Degree holder

Good with excel, word etc

Keen to quickly work through the ranks by working hard

Good communication skills: phone, face to face, and written

Demonstrate initiative

Entrepreneurial

Hold a driving license

Team player

Experience with back-office systems such as X-Plan or similar, FE Analytics, Cashcalc and provider platforms

Strong technical knowledge around pensions, investments and IHT planning

Relevant examinations

Sales experience

Experience required:

At least 1-year financial services experience.

Qualifications required:

Must have been studying for exams towards being an IFA/or fully qualified. (Level 4 qualified)
