THE OPPORTUNITY:

My client is looking for a Quality Control Technician who is keen to develop their career in Quality Assurance to support their quality team.

You may be a graduate with a science type background and some work experience in quality (QA / QC) or you may have a couple of years experience – either way you will enjoy working with documentation, systems and processes in an operational environment and be able to engage effectively with people at all levels of an organisation.

A passion for quality, good systems / IT skills and a willingness to learn is essential, along with any experience in a medical, pharmaceutical or other regulated environment which will be particularly relevant.

THE ROLE:

This is a superb opportunity for you to use and develop your experience in a challenging Quality Technician role where you will receive in-role training and development. In this role you will:

– Collect and co-ordinate quality and process data.

– Control QMS and QA documentation.

– Maintain process specifications and quality processes.

– Support the investigation of non-conformances and deviations and utilise corrective and preventative action tools.

– Conduct process audits.

– Review and report on audit and process records and activity.

– Be involved with calibration activities

TO APPLY:

To apply for this role you should have:

– Previous work experience in a related role in a regulated environment e.g. pharmaceutical, medical, medical devices, forensics. Exposure to GDP / GMP is very useful.

– Ideally some understanding of regulations and how they are applied to QA processes.

– High attention to detail during routine tasks and able to follow strict process guidelines.

– Good written and verbal communication skills, ability grasp technical concepts.

– A good level of IT literacy and able to use QA / QMS and Audit systems and software.

– High personal standards and not afraid to draw attention to problems.

– Able to work well in a team and motivated to develop.
