Data Management Intern We are seeking a motivated and skilled intern to join our dynamic Credit Assessment team based in London on a 6 month internship. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development of various Credit Data Management projects, including a new portfolio management system designed to support portfolio monitoring activity and support internal reporting obligations. This role will involve close collaboration within Allianz Trade Credit Department in general and Credit Assessment team in particular to review and improve existing processes, contribute to data reporting, and participate in transformative projects leveraging AI technology. This role will offer you hands-on experience in a leading global Trade Credit Insurance company, exposure to strategic projects and opportunity to contribute to innovation initiatives. You will be part of a learning environment where you can expand your skills and knowledge Key Responsibilities: Engage with cross-functional teams and assist in the development of a new portfolio management system from the ground up, using several databases including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access Support the Credit Assessment team in managing and analysing Credit department data Take initiative to propose new ideas and initiatives to enhance team productivity and efficiency Participate in departmental transformation projects, including the implementation of AI-based systems [like optical character recognition]. Help in financial analysis and other ongoing projects as needed, applying data processing and management expertise. What you will bring: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Business administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced knowledge) and Access but also VBA Excel. Power BI or Data Visualisation tools knowledge would be appreciated. Willingness to learn new digital tools (including AI and emerging technologies) with a positive attitude and problem-solving approach. Demonstrated experience in data processing, management, and analysis. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with financial analysis and credit systems is preferred.
