What can you expect

We are looking for a high calibre graduate to join the IM department. The role of the IM Cyber Security Graduate is to make a significant and positive impact on the way Airbus performs, improves and innovates. From day one you will be integrated to the IM Cyber Security team and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function and the wider IM organisation and business areas. This along with training provided, works to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to take the next step of your career.

It’s a great time to join Airbus within our IM function and we have multiple Graduates joining IM in other disciplines. Our Digital Cyber Security Graduate will be part of highly skilled IM Cyber professionals, within a European wide team that has global reach and accountability.

In this role you will be part of our Cyber Transformation program, and you will have the opportunity to learn and demonstrate your capabilities on projects and across services that vary from Data Loss, to Cyber Analytics, OT Security, Privileged Access Management, Portfolio Management, Project execution and much more besides.

Your role will vary, and will evolve, and will typically be expected to deliver;

• Technical expertise,
• Project tasks,
• Business and data analysis,
• Support to the business in a security context whilst always performing in line with Airbus behaviours

Your development journey will also include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into this position – the point is to prepare you for the future, to achieve amazing things together.

At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of a Digital Cyber Security professional!

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, we ask that you demonstrate you have;

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
• Experience/knowledge of working with information technology (PC, Servers, Mobile technology, process such as Agile, ITIL, Cloud (AWS etc.), Web Servers, Identity and Access Management, Machine Learning, Big Data etc.) and/or IOT/Operational Technologies (Shop floor systems, MES etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

Knowledge of the below topics is required

• IT Security related fundamentals (End Point, Networks, Architecture designs)
• Web application designs or cloud IaaS (AWS etc.) or SaaS
• Two or more commonly used Security controls

Knowledge of the below topics/tools would be beneficial

• Regulations (GDPR, Export Control etc.), Security standards, Security methods (including Risk) and Data Governance principles would be preferred.
