A fantastic opportunity has recently become available for an SEN Support Worker (Aspiring Psychologist) in a lovely mainstream primary school in Maidenhead. If you are a psychology graduate and are looking for an opportunity that will give you valuable experience as well as be highly rewarding, then I want to hear from you!Your role will play a crucial part in offering assistance to children facing Autism as their primary diagnosis. These children often present with accompanying challenges including speech and language difficulties, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and other learning requirements. Additionally, many of them exhibit struggles in social interactions, emotional regulation, and mental well-being.Monitoring and recording students’ progress.* Motivating and supporting children to reach their fullest potential.Ideally, has some prior experience working with children, but most importantly, is enthusiastic about learning.

  • Previous experience with children having additional needs is beneficial, though not obligatory.
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.
