The role

The Technical & Scientific Support (TSS) group within Clinical Affairs have an exciting new opportunity for a Scientist III to join their team, responsible for providing scientific support and guidance to the worldwide business.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a Scientist wanting to focus on technical writing and the review of scientific literature and clinical evidence. The team interacts with ADC colleagues in key business functions including product registrations, reimbursement applications, new tender acquisitions, and product evaluations. In addition, a large and growing area of focus in the group is the timely delivery of key technical reports under the MDR and IVDR for ADC products to enable CE marking and the selling of medical devices in the EU.

Day to day, this varied role will see you performing literature reviews and subsequent preparation of technical product summaries for publications on ADC and competitor products, collate and appraise data for clinical evidence, troubleshoot on product performance queries, and prepare reports for Performance/Clinical Evaluation and Post-Market Performance/Clinical Follow-Up.

About you

You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment within a hard-working and welcoming team. You will be keen to develop your skills in scientific writing, data analysis, and production of reports and impactful presentations of your findings.

To be successful, you will be qualified to higher-level education as a minimum in a science discipline, and ideally bring some industry-based experience of working in a scientific and regulated environment. You will bring proven experience of critical thinking and the ability to consolidate this through effective technical writing. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a team, and be comfortable collaborating with other functions across the UK and US.
